This is the first time I've ever created a website so you should bear with me a bit. To be honest, I'm not much of a computer junkie even though I love gaming. Pretty weird, right? Comparitively speaking, I'm a pretty strange person as it is. This page is more of a place holder than anything else. I prefer blogs to static pages, so you can read more updated posts over there.

So who am I? Well, I identify myself in a lot of ways. I'm a college student (in the southeast), and I'm a writer. I love writing more than anything else and would like to make a living from it, but you know how that goes. I'm not much up for the starving artist thing in the long run. I have several published works but am not making any significant amount of money from them.

As a gamer, I tend to identify with MMORPGs more than anything else. I've been playing MMORPGs for most of my life and can't see that changing any time soon. My favorite game is World of Warcraft but I also love Rift and Final Fantasy. Yeah, I know that none of the above really goes together but that's just what I like. Diversity.

I've been playing WoW for two years now and have enjoyed seeing it grow up. There's a lot of things that I don't really like now (trading characters between factions? That's gross, man), but I can't complain too much. World of Warcraft has become a very casual gaming environment and I think that's why it has so many players--but also why it can be frustrating at times. It's not really a "gamer's game" anymore as you are just as likely to see the jock down the street playing it as the nerds in your circle.

Whenever I'm not gaming, I like to go out with friends and hang out at the theater or get drunk and play pool. Sometimes twister--but I have to be drunk enough I won't remember the transpiring events the next morning!

I will eventually take this page down and put something more constructive. Until then, enjoy my blog and I hope to see you commenting soon!
